This past weekend, the Red Bull Mini Drome visited Toronto, and 85 riders came out to compete. Almost every type of bike could be seen competing in the race, including of course a few 26fixed guys. 1st went to Addison Zawada, a BMX racer who came all way from Florida to take his 3rd Mini Drome title. Justin Soares, an all-around ripper from T-Dot took second, and I battled it out and snatched 3rd. Good times were had for all, and if Mini Drome passes through your city, I definitely recommend attending!

Finn has been a huge influence on my fixed gear riding since day one. Hell, he was the guy who convinced me to launch my track bike off some sketchy little ramp we built out of salvaged crap in a parking lot a couple years ago. Finn has always had a focus on creative riding style, and Tom Briggs does an excellent job exhibiting that. Thanks for being a constant inspiration guys! Via Skitch.
You might have noticed a recent slow-down in 26fixed posting. Other committments have eaten into my blogging time, so 26fixed is going to now focus more on local scene developments. We’ll call Toronto our epicenter, even though we’re currently based out of Hamilton, ON.
New jam by Matt Spencer is a good watch. The barspin off the tree by Oskar at 1:24 was clean. Via Wolfdrawn!
Hell Track 4 was fuckin’ fun, and here’s the video proof. Seen on the Moshpit!
Ed Laforte, Matt Reyes, Matt Montoya, Alex Blanco, and Devon Lawson get down in the sunset at this epic looking park. Fresh riding all around – the streets better be scared! Via WT.
